Words, Not Cars

Fun weekend in the big city, but it's too late to get into that now, so a little newspaper poetry before bed. It's not about buying old cars, sadly... unless in your heart you really want it to be.

Lactation Nation

Nearly 1000 dancers take part

Retooling the thriller for times of obvious culprits

Painted ladies and pork bellies

Freakish family circus

Beyond titillation

Love and separation

Getting no respect

The big picture

A moribund era of lame ducks

1000th prisoner about to die

Drunkie don’t lose that number

Here’s my first attempt:

Bush blows exit strategy
Cruel genius still in denial
Putting their faith in trust

Coming to a toy store near you: War in Iraq – the board game
Keeping kids on task
A tribute to a ‘beautiful boy’

Seeing the really big picture
Facing their last amen
No time to waste

Expect an exciting finish to this trilogy

Enter the inward, dreamy iPod universe at your peril

Wow!

Nice work, Lori. From now on you can only read the newspaper while wearing a beret.

Re: "Cruel genius still in denial"

Actually, I don't think the Journal would have the balls to headline an article about Bush with this...It was for a book review of some old lady's memiors.

yay, compliments from a pro...I'm so thrilled! This is a fun game. Now back to changing the shitty diapers. lol.
